Hello and welcome to the forums.
You should probably check the drive manual because on page 6 it says that the pulse and direction pins only accept 5 volt signals.
It doesn't look like you wired it in a way that would damage anything. You didn't wire +24V directly to the drive inputs or Acorn screw ...

Re: Retrofitting Thor
If you are planning to use the Wizard to generate the home file, then set it to home Y in the negative direction in the Wizard.
The field in the report file gives the setting in the CNC12 Setup -> Config -> Mach. -> Motor page. This is modified by the Wizard when selecting the direction to home. I ...

Re: Retrofitting Thor
I found something inconsistent in the report:
Homing file says M91/Y L1 (home in - direction) while the report says that Y homes in + direction to input 2.
Try changing that M91 to M92 and see what happens.

Re: testing step and direction output in advanced diagnostics
If you have an oscilloscope available, then it would be easiest to use that and look at the step and direction outputs from the DB25.
If you do not have an oscilloscope, you can verify that the direction signals change on the DB25 using a DC voltmeter. Red lead to the direction output and black to ...

Re: Wiring Driver to Acorn
The wiring shown in that diagram is the same as our schematic S14976. The 5V comes from a power supply (i.e. 5V output of Acorn power supply) and the DIR- and PUL- go to the corresponding terminals on the DB25 header.

Re: Acorn voltage output
Your report from yesterday says that the minimum spindle speed set in CNC12 is 15k RPM. Is that truly the minimum speed of the spindle?

Hello and welcome to the forums.
If the computer is not powering up, the first thing I would check is the power supply in the PC. If that is not working then replace it with an equivalent ATX power supply.

Re: Acorn custom plc not over written buy wizard
Correct. The USBBOB is not required for this. It would keep the Acorn's PLC inputs free for limit switches or other things though.

Yes, what Uwe said.
You can wire your buttons to inputs on the Acorn then assign CycleStart2 and FeedHold2 to the corresponding inputs.

Re: How to wire Leadshin h2-758 Hybrid drivers?
The inverter supplies its own voltage on the inputs. All you need to do to have the Acorn start it is wire from X1 to an Acorn relay normally open terminal and then from the common terminal of that relay back to the inverter's COM terminal.
I'd recommend finding the manual for the inverter and ...
