Re: +4 Axis Backplot with the mill

I made some tests, it seems that the 4 axis graph is only working with A-axis..... Uwe Thank you for the verification. I think the P118 is the setting I needed. It wasn't clear since it mentioned Digi Probe and then mention X center for rotary. The manual needs for examples and illustration to refe...

Re: +4 Axis Backplot with the mill

In P93 there is no setting documented for "Along B-Axis" but P118 119 are for the B-Axis coordinates. Maybe this all is for Centroids machines with articulated head, but give it a try. Uwe I saw the P118 and P119 but was not sure to change anything for them. The manual wasn't exactly clear.

Re: Setting up a 4th Axis in Acorn and fusion360

Here is how I do this. After setting up this way you can mill any part in the centric vise on the A-Axis without using a probe for each part. If using Intercon use all dimensions from the center of the A-Axis and from X0 at the base of the vise jaws. Uwe https://youtu.be/fGmzjg_IVSU Great video. No...

Re: +4 Axis Backplot with the mill

I've been asking about this since January 2023. I have the Router Pro license with my rotary on the B axis. I couldn't never get a direct answer. Good to know.

Re: Issues Need Addressing

Well, like it or not the CPU for your PC (i3-6100U CPU @ 2.30GHz per your report) was designed for, and usually used in, Laptops. True, a mini PC may or may not not suffer from the same power saving probs that afflict Laptops but nevertheless your CPU is rated @ 1335 stb and therefore below Centroi...

Re: Issues Need Addressing

Centroid recommend NOT using a laptop for a CNCPC. This is due to some services being shut down for power saving without warning. This could result in intermittent probs such as you are experiencing and extremely difficult to track down. My other reference to single thread benchmark is also recomme...

I have no idea what your comment is referring to. Care to elaborate with more of an explanation?
