What is the encoder count on the motor?
What do you have set for steps per motor rev in the Wizard?
What voltage are you using to drive the motor?

1600 both places.
36VDC, the power supply came from the manufacturer.

Unfortunately I am out of ideas as I am unfamiliar with that motor drive.
Is the motor unlocked until you try and command a move?

These cheap JMC integrated steppers (I thought they were servos, but I was wrong) have worked really well, they have been plugging away for almost a year. This morning I had a crash; the z-axis motor died... There is voltage to the motor, but no power light, no alarm light, it is graveyard dead.
I have a replacement and a spare on order, they will be here Friday. I'm kicking myself; I knew with these cheap motors I should have a spare on hand, Live and learn. I'll be looking at a spare spindle and inverter to have on hand as well.
Maybe its time to start saving up for Clearpath servos.
