Are there any plans for centroid to support a standard Ethernet based fieldbus standard like Modbus TCP, Ethernet IP, or ethercat for spindle VFD control? It seems like this could provide a lot of advantage to users since these protocols are fairly common. Could allow for better communication with the drive, including drive status/error information.
Thanks!

EtherCAT spindle VFD control is not currently supported, but will be at some point.
