voltage on out puts for spindle fwd rev
Can someone tell me what the outputs voltage are ? say for fwd or rev , and if it is 24 volt ,can i step it down to 5 volt with a buck converter for a 5 volt signal.

Re: voltage on out puts for spindle fwd rev
The types of connections available are covered in detail in the Acorn specification sheet. There are 5V outputs, 24V outputs, and relay outputs. Which ones you use for each function is up to you.

All digital outputs pull to COM on the Acorn board when turned on. Relay outputs switch whatever voltage is supplied to the com of the relay.

Re: voltage on out puts for spindle fwd rev
Thank you for your response's , the pulling negative makes sense and i can supply the 5 volt to the input pin on my control .
Re: voltage on out puts for spindle fwd rev
I should change that to say "All digital outputs". Relay outputs switch whatever voltage you supply to com of the relay.
