Very cool, now I know what Marty was busy with the last time
Is there a video with the machine running at full speed?

Re: The Hickory CNC controller is now available.
Very exciting!
For servo drives that are not currently on the supported list, is this generally a case of figuring out the correct servo drive configuration to communicate with Hickory or are there also software updates ongoing for Hickory to support new drives (things that a user would not be able to do on their own)? Do you see any hope for a user to make things work with an unsupported ethercat servo drive?
Can I ask what servo drives you are currently testing? I have been interested in both the EL8 Series from Leadshine and the Delta ASDA-A2 series.
Thanks!

Are there any plans to support the Yaskawa SGD7W two-axis drives?Current Supported Drives are:
Yaskawa Sigma 7 SGD7S
Estun Summa ED3S
Glentek Gamma 9GE
Is the 5/13/2021 version of the "Hickory Quick Start Guide" still the most current?

Re: The Hickory CNC controller is now available.
There is no chance of getting an unsupported drive to work. Possibly this could be remedied with a different configuration method in the future.
Delta ASDA-A2 is not currently an option. It is not entirely ruled out for the future.
EL7 and EL8 series are being tested for possible support.
There are currently no plans to support SGD7W. I'm sure that is a model we could support if there is demand for it.Are there any plans to support the Yaskawa SGD7W two-axis drives?

I think the "Hickory Quick Start Guide" will be superseded by individual drive model setup tech bulletins. A HICKORY / Yaskawa setup tech bulletin based on the quick start guide will be available soon.

Re: The Hickory CNC controller is now available.
Seeing that the yaskawa sgd7s drives are supported, does this mean the sgdv drives with the eathercat option module OCA01A would also be supported. Also where would I find the hickory quick start quite.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: The Hickory CNC controller is now available.
Just to be more specific in my question, I would like to use the EL8 drives for a project that I would be looking to complete around October/November. Do you see any hope that the EL8 drives could be working with Hickory by then?
