Fusion 360 / Centroid Post Processor for Plasma

Post by Haysys »

Thanks for taking a few moments to read and reply.

I volunteer at Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network (BARN -- https://bainbridgebarn.org/) on Bainbridge Island, WA. I'm the colead of the machine shop where we are building up a DIY 4'x4' CNC Plasma cutter with an Acorn and DMM DYN4 drives & servos. We about have it completed, and working on managing the automatic height adjustment for the torch, as well as the post processor out of Fusion 360. The Fusion Centroid milling PP throws errors for Plasma, so I'm looking to figure that out.

The error I'm getting is:

###############################################################################
Error: Waterjet, laser, and plasma cutting toolpath is not supported by the post configuration.
Failed while processing onOpen().
###############################################################################
Error: Failed to invoke 'onOpen' in the post configuration

I've posted the full error log.

Any hints or help greatly appreciated!!

David

Here is what I modified for my needs - there are settings in the post config for various things.

This is just what works for me in my application.
