spindle motor and vfd

this on haas mini mill the haas setup uses a dc powered servo amplified 320 v dc input
same voltage connect to the other servo drives powering yaskawa ac servo

The larger amp powers the spindle . it think it 45 amp model . it wired to the spindle motor the label says low voltage
it only wire label no markings on motor.
Then theirs 2 small wires out motor that go to spindle encoder input on haas controller.

my question does a vfd duplicate this haas servo amp
the motor looks like a 3 phase motor is wired with 3 wire for power .
and the 2 small wire what are they . they wire to encoder input on controller

this last thing i try to figure out before purchasing parts for hickory build
i just need to make sure the vfd goa work
