39. Fixed graphic anomaly where homing direction indicator in the Wizard for the 4th axis would not stick on the selected M91/2 setting. This was a graphic only bug and did not affect the actual homing process.
40. Fixed RTG DRO position Graphic overlay anomaly for Lathes that have Turret axes being displayed as an axis.
41. Fixed G code Search bug where two tool changes would occur when searched for a line that had a macro on it which would result in double tool changes and other unexpected results.
42. Increased the CNC12 Bitmap graphics resolution to maximum, now all bitmaps (.bmp’s, jpegs and .pngs) look better in CNC12 than before.
43. Added Soft Limit control to Plasma and Laser THC position so now THC will not exceed a soft travel limit.
There seem to be something broken with smoothing in RC3. I have a special set of smoothing parameters for 3D relief and V-Carving, and with RC3, it's almost like it's stuck in exact stop mode. Motion is very jerky with a simple 45º ramp up, shallow dish, and 45º ramp down. V-Carving is not fluid in it's motion either. The "Smoothing On" indicator is showing, and I know that the desired smoothing parameters are set/saved. After reverting back to v5.08, all is well again. Two reports attached again, one from 5.10RC3 and one from 5.08.
Along with this, I think I noticed that MPG motion is jerky again like it was some versions back. I'm not positive on that, and would need to verify it again to be sure. https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic. ... 049#p81049
I had this jerky smothing with an active switching of the 3D measuring probe without an error message from the system, I haven't tested this update yet.

thanks for reporting.
can you post the g code program you are using so we can recreate here on our machines
Here are two files, and a screenshot of the layout to show the datum point. Size is 15" x 6". You should notice it right away at the beginning of either file. v5.10RC3 will barely get up to 35ipm while jerking along, where v5.08 will get close to the commanded feedrate on the low to no detail parts and run smoothly. You can try my ad2_presets.xml from the report. Each file calls up the desired preset at the beginning.
I also tried running it with the standard Precision Router parameters with the same results in v5.10RC3.
I'm pretty sure that my 5.08 install is 64bit, as I have always chosen that one to download throughout testing. I checked, but couldn't find anything that stated that in the install.

If you need a short video of it, let me know.
ok this one we are having trouble reproducing. about what line numbers on the job is it most prevalent?
Since these file were the only ones I've tried on 5.10RC3, I thought I better try some others that have many short segments, and I see that it affects many others as well. I have this file (starts at the 1 minute mark) https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic. ... 948#p20948 that has a lot of spirals and circles, and generally it would run like it does in that video, but with 5.10RC3, it just crawls and jerks along as if you were running exact stop.
