Intercon Question

I would like to face a part sitting on a sine plate, taking multiple passes until the desired thickness is met. Is there a way to loop a pass, have it stop for measurement then run another pass stepping it down 0.010 after each cycle. I could determine where the material becomes flat and take the appropriate number of passes to get there then write a program that would take enough passes to get it close to final thickness. I envision the ability to have the program ask if I want another pass, step down in Z by 0.01, run, stop and repeat.
Perhaps there is an easier way...The back story is I need to machine a gib and the first operation is creating a taper. The desired angle is .9 degrees, which is currently set by the sine vise. I also use fusion but the programming is above my pay grade 9-)

I would just program a single facing pass in Intercon. Run it, measure the part and then use G52 to lower Z the desired amount. Rinse and repeat as needed.

OK Thanks I'll investigate G52
