Is ther a way to run just a few lines of G-code?

Is ther a way to run just a few lines of G-code?
How would I run a really short G-code file not made in Intercon or a CAM program. Along the lines of the MDI but with more than one line.

Either input them one line at a time in MDI, or save them to a file and run them just like any other program.

I use NP++ to write small programs.
