MPG Plasma Lost RF
I have a brand new WMPG-4 and can not get it to connect. Every time I turn it on, it says connect##### then Lost RF. I followed the instructions here: https://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_di ... ss_mpg.pdf
I've tried the following and nothing has worked:
Tried with the MPG up to 30ft away.
New batteries and confirmed they are good.
Removed the USB receiver in device manager and restarted PC.
Tried the USB receiver in every USB on the PC.
Tried the USB receiver in another PC.
What else can I try?

Re: MPG Plasma Lost RF
what kind of batteries are you using?
what are the specs on the CNC PC? is this a laptop?
did you run the Centroid CNC PC Tuner on the PC to set it up properly for CNC use?
if you still have issues after that.
You can also try going into device manager and deleting the WMPG under USB devices and then right click on the top of the device tree and select "scan for hardware changes". This lets Windoze re-install the device.

Re: MPG Plasma Lost RF
Hello Byan,
The Com errors are Packets that are sent between the Acorn and the PC.
I checked out your THC plots and there's interference. Have you fired the torch yet?
I wouldn't advise it until the Ground loop or interference is sorted.
I'm thinking that this is related to the COM errors and the USB transmitter.
Have you tried the USB and MPG on a different computer away from the cabinet?
Just to ensure the MPG does connect.
Can you start a google photo Album so we can See the Cabinet?
