off brand MPG

Post by Gary S »

I was given an MPG and want to use it on my ALLIN1DC. I bought a cable and round connector. I do not want to wire it incorrectly and would like someone review what I think the wiring should be. with this MPG I have three wires I think should connect to the common pin and would like this verified. The hand written wire numbers is the connector assignment I believe they go.

That looks correct, except possibly for the LED.

I think the Allin1DC MPG output is an open-collector output that closes to 0V/COM. So you would connect the plus side of your LED to pin 1 (+5V), and the minus side to pin 14 (LED out).
