Ironically I think it is this tool that is used for the small connector rather than the front inserted tool. The contacts themselves are HD20 amplimite contacts.

To follow up, I have purchased and successfully used a 910672 style tool for this connector.

try these I have a couple sets and should find one that works.

These connectors require a removal tool.woth a slot to go around the wire. The Ebay style posted, while useful for many other connectors, don't work for these.
