Are you running a DC1 axis driver with a 4th (or more) axis?

I think that's associated with the 'expansion' drives-to-DC11 communications (DC1 driver board, which has both electrical and fiber i/os). As far as I know, the All-in-one-DC board doesn't have any external FO i/o connections. But since it's got the DC11 logic on it, it might still honor and look for FO inputs/outputs, if configured to do so.

Have you perhaps configured a 4th or 5th axis when you don't actually have one?

(thrashing, here... <G>)

Appreciate your reply.
I am using the ALL IN ONE DC. Only 3 axis.
Did a little trouble-shooting. Seem to avoid the error when I disconnect the encoders. I am using new encoders purchased with the kit.
The encoders tested OK during that step of the set-up process. Still scratching my head here.

Please send a report from your system to tech@ajaxcnc.com . From the main menu press F7-Utilities, F7-Report. We would just need the report.zip created. The report will allow tech support to see what your parameters settings are at, all the faults you are getting, and any other settings. With that info they should be able to sort your issue out.
When requesting support READ THIS POST first. https://www.viewtopic.php?f=60&t=1043

Please ALWAYS post a FRESH report. To make a report: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ecvg0VJp1oQ.

(We pride ourselves on providing timely solid technical support but, without good information we may not be able to help and/or reply until such information is posted.)

Liviu,
There should be a policy that when a problem like this is raised in the public forum, its resolution should be posted, as well. That will save both you AND your customers a lot of head-scratching in future.

We try to post the results whenever possible.

This tread addresses the same issue with several troubleshooting steps (though in that case the issue was hardware).
