Is it possible to use a digitized AJAX CNC7 file in Vcarve or is Mold Magic my only option?

Ken,

Hello. Not Vcarve, but Aspire. Some time ago the good guys at Vectric added CENTROID/Ajax .DIG format as an direct Import feature into their Aspire software. Nice! If you don't have Aspire you can also use the built in Ajax DIG to Ascii converter which converts the .DIG format (which is just G code) to Ascii (which is basically XYZ coordinates) and most any 3D CAD system will accepts the Ascii data format. the DIg to CAD button is located in the Digitizing menu on recent software version and I believe it is in the Utility Menu on older versions. -Keith
