CNC11 Homing with single limit switch

Post by bonestock »

My X and Y axis each have a single limit switch which has been wired in series to the plus and minus limit inputs for that axis.

How would one go about homing an axis with a single limit switch? It looks like M92 in mach3 defeats the limit when it needs to jog in the opposite direction, but CNC11 does not.

I have explored the possibility of a custom macro but I am not sure how to temporarily override/disable the limit input for the opposite direction.

coming across this post I see instructions to only wire the limit switch for the direction they will be homing in. http://www.ajaxcnc.com/ajaxbb/viewtopic ... limit#p385

I supposed I can utilize this as a work around and fashion some brackets for additional limit switches on my axes.
