Oak Schematic Errors - S14798 & S14804

Post by travasky »

In looking at the Oak schematic set I've notices some errors specifically related to the drawings involving Carousel ATCs. Drawings S14798 and S14804 to be exact.

The wiring to and from the VFD doesn't match up with the I/O on the Oak or the PLCADD1616 boards.

Spin forward and reverse should be connected to the oak on H11/8NO and H11/8NC but instead one of those outputs is listed as PLCADD1616 H2/OUT 3.
Similar issues exist the with Orient and Oriented signals being split between the Oak and 1616 board with the terminals being incorrectly labeled. On the PLCADD1616 this causes issues with the low air switch shown on H5/IN 2.

In short, neither of these drawings seems to be correct. Are there updated drawings available? Last revision on these is the initial release on 11/29/16.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I have attached the latest version of S14798, where the error is corrected. However S14804 still needs to be fixed. We will post the update as soon as that is done.

Thank you for responding so quickly. Spin FWD/REV are fixed. However, it looks like "Oriented" should connect to PLCADD1616 H2/1 IN, but its currently shown as PLCADD1616 H2 / 2 IN at the inverter drawing. I guess it comes down to whether the Inverter side of the drawings is correct vs. the PLCADD1616 side.

Also "Orient" is shown as PLCADD1616 H2 / OUT 1 on the Inverter drawing but should be PLCADD1616 H1 / OUT 1.
