M 40 to remote pc ?
Need some advise on hooking my M40 to a remote PC. How do I do it and what type cable is needed. The remote PC has a 9 pin male plug in and a 25 pin also.

Re: M 40 to remote pc ?
I am assuming that since you are mentioning the 9 pin and the 25 pin connectors, you are trying to send programs to the M40 control via the RS-232 port, correct. If so, the attached tech bulletin may help you out. Some systems required an additional software, CNC7DNC, which I have attached the manual for that software.
