Need a small motor for lathe spindle

First, I already have a couple of Teknic Clearpath MCVC and MCPV motors. These are not the same as the SDSK motors, they're primarily designed to be run from software. Looking at the various operating modes, I don't see how I can control these from Acorn because there doesn't seem to be a 0-10V input. Before I start looking at buying a new motor, can anyone tell me if they have a Teknic MCVC or MCPV motor working with Acorn as a lathe spindle motor? If so, what mode are you using and how do you have it wired up?

I have an email in to Teknic but haven't heard back yet.

If these won't work, can you recommend a small NEMA23 sized motor I can use for this? The lathe is very small, doesn't need to be massively powered. It currently has a 0.5HP DC motor in it. here's some info on what I have: https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=9955

I'd be looking for something cheap.

I've used Teknic's ASU-FR510 unit to control an MCPV motor from 0-10VDC. The ASU-FR510 costs about $60.

Here is another option:

I bought a 2.6 kw one for a mill spindle motor and it works great. They make smaller ones as well. The 2.6 Kw motor and driver was $357.00 plus shipping. I can get the JMC contact info to place an order if you would like.

Thanks... Richard
