Acorn with Durapulse and Yaskawa Drives Connection Help

Hello,

I am struggling wrapping my brain around this concept. I have an Acorn, Durapulse VFD, X and Z axis Yaskawa SGDV Sigma 5 drives. I am struggling to comprehend how to tie them all together at Acorn's H1-IN5. The Durapulse R1 calls it spindle OK. On the Yaskawa drives its ALM+. I am trying to figure out how to wire these. I assume you want to wire them in series but how and where for in and out?? Please see attachments for clarification.

you don't.

use separate inputs, one for the spindle fault (durapulse) and the other for the yaskawa drive fault.

use the wizard to determine which inputs you want to use for each of the fault signals

in the example below i am using spindle drive fault on input 4 and the axis drive fault on input 5

make a build thread.
start with a photo album link with lots of photos of the machine and the control build and you will get good answer the more info you provide. picture is worth a thousand words. video is even better. i suggest to use google photos.

the schematics assume you know how to use the Wizard to put in the inputs and outputs where you want and they are 'generic' in this regard since we have no idea of the combination of devices someone is using to connect to the control board.

there are overall system schematics examples if you want to see how an entire system is wired.

Yeah I have been meaning to do a build thread. I have it wired 99% like the generic S15010. Tons to learn. But yeah ill go take some pictures now and post. Thanks again for your help
