Reminder, there is a very helpful screen in the Centroid software that lets you check the status of the Inputs and Outputs. Useful during setup and testing of your machine.
From the main software screen, press ALT-I
You will see the diagnostic screen with "LED"s. The ones you are interested in for Acorn will be the first 8 inputs on the top line far left and the next line down are the outputs, same thing, first 8 on the left.
You can "TEMPORARILY" invert the input by pressing CTL+ALT and I to invert the input. I suggest you only use for testing purposes only.
You can use your arrow keys to move the "box" around the input you are interested it. About the middle of the screen, just under the last row of "LEDs" will be a descriptor of the Input/Output you have the selection box around.

Re: Quick Tip: Centroid Software Diagnostic Screen
Sorry to add to an old thread, but I thought it would be good to keep this information together. On the diagnostic screen you can also force outputs with CTRL ALT F. First press forces the output on, second press forces it off, third press reverts to normal behavior.
As Marty stated above, this is for TEMPORARY use diagnosing problems.

Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.
