What would be the realistic maximum of backlash for acorn 6 with scales to deal with on a 3 axis knee mill, thinking of upgrading from acorn?

I am pretty sure the scales will compensate a big amount of backlash, but this will not make milling better with a loose ball screw.
On X and Y I would repair anything over 0.05mm
