G540 DB 9 connections *COOL OPTION!*

The G540 connects directly to Acorn using the DB25 port and a STRAIGHT through cable. Select the appropriate G540 option in the Software wizard and that's half the battle!
The other half is fumbling with hooking up the stepper motor wiring to the DB9 male connector required of the G540. I don't like solder cups. I prefer crimp pins and the crimp type DB0 connector. BUT
These are super cool. They are far easier to use, solder the stepper motor wires (correctly!) to the easy to solder pads and using an Ohm meter, set the little pot to the current limiting value for your stepper motors (found on the motor spec sheet), put the hood on, and plug it into the G540
