Hi i am getting ready to install an hiteco atc on a router and was after some info before i start, i have 3 inputs and 5 outputs available to me and was wondering if that is enough or i need the expansion board. I have a brake for the spindle which needs to be installef , 2 solenoid for the air line, my vfd has a thermal input which im hoping i can use and not quite sure if the atc signal wiring all needs to be assigned
Thanks in advance

I installed an hsd atc with just the 8 relays. I did use a generic relay board that would disable the manual button tool release if it was running and things like that. I think I had one relay left unused. Inputs were full, but I made it.

Thanks Ken i have yet to automate the atc and have a carriage in and carriage out being used for the toolholders as well as a dust boot which will pneumatcally work with carriage in and out to move it out of the way. i havent used the tool locked sensor as i figure toolrelease will lock the tool after its cycle and i have 1 input left and all outputs are being used

If you want every input and output showing up on your screen, then the add on board will do that. I just wanted some safety added where if it won't do certain things if the inputs are not correct. You might want an air pressure switch also, so it either sets the estop when you don't have enough air pressure, or another input used.
