all axis stopped moving

Post by Scotfshr »

I have leadshine servos and Dm 542 drivers. I had just got everything up and running everything configured and was doing my first few commands and projects on intercon doing facing arcs etc. Then I'm not ,sure what happened I started up put some g code in, and everything on cnc12 still acts normal, but all the drives stopped working. they wont home, they won't move at all, the motors get rigid still when i put power to the acorn board, but nothing, no movement at all when jogging mdi nothing
I willtry and attach the link to the report.https://1drv.ms/u/s!AkYzpC9Kv0cYgSQr_ee ... D?e=dQNhg3

A report is a .zip file that can be attached to you post.

Are the stepper drives hooked to the headers or to a breakout board plugged into the DB25?

Looking through the message log in your report, it seems that you're getting a COMM error, please review this post on how to debug comm errors: https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?p=8855#p8855

Everything was working in fact CNC 12 still comes up when I open it I have everything hooked to the headers not a DB 25 connector.

You have it wired wrong. Find the diagram for the dm series leadshine and it shows using the db25
