Re: No trail
You have to turn the trail on by toggling the F9 (trail on is off and trail off is on, dont ask), you also have to set the tool diameter in the tool library to set the trail size and you have to have a tool loaded. Just below the "Job Name:" on the screen, do you have a tool loaded or do you see "T---". Go into MDI and manually load a tool to see the trail.

Re: No trail
Where did you set the tool diameter? Please be specific and please post a current report so we can help you better. Without it we are just guessing here.

Re: No trail
You have to set the tool diameter in the tool library in CNC12 not your code. And then you have to have that tool loaded in CNC12 so it shows the tool number on the screen.

Re: No trail
it works I hardly use drawing so I totally forgot but it works now
thank You Shawn
Is there a info describing how to set all parameters for Tool setup?
The info in the manual is very vague
So is the Dia set to tool dia using decimal size or what same with height
Thanks

Re: No trail
Does this machine have an ATC? If not you dont really need the tool offset library setup to match any tools. I normally set the first 10 tools to be same diameter, for me that's 1/8" as 3/16" is probably the largest bit I use when cutting my instrument panels. This way I can see the tool and trail if I have it on.
Yes, use decimal numbers to set values.
