Hi,
Recieved a CNC from a friend that has ran for the past 3-4 years. All I did was take it apart bring it to my place and set it up. Only thing different is I have the WMPG-6 and he was using the -4. When I turn it on I get a white window that says
Wirepless MPG enabled but not found.
I went into acorn wizard and changed it from 4 to 6 but this didn't do anything.
The display itself just has the wifi and strength signals on it it does not show anything else.
The mill itself will function with the pc software just can't get the WMPG to run.
I'm not sure what to do so please any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance
Help getting my WMPG6 controller to connect/be detected

Is the controller an Acorn4 or AcornSIX?

Re: Help getting my WMPG6 controller to connect/be detected
Please post a report. What version of software are you running? I assume you restarted software / computer and tried turning the WMPG on/off?
The WMPG-6 is being used with the Antenna that came with it correct? The Antennas are keyed to the receivers.

Re: Help getting my WMPG6 controller to connect/be detected
Ok, I need to learn how to post a report. But here is what I've noticed since
1. After I homed the mill then the coordinates popped up on the MPG and I was able to move the bed with the MPG.
2. It seems like I lost connection and then it no longer worked. Seems like something is causing interference with the wifi. Because today after using the sensor to find the corner everything locked and I couldn't use the mpg anymore this was after I heard the windows noise for detecting something a couple of times,
The controller is a 4. Software is v5.06 Ultimate
Yes the antenna is what came with it.
It appears when going into device manager that the unit is not being recognized by windows. Is there a driver that I need for windows 10 support?

Re: Help getting my WMPG6 controller to connect/be detected
plug directly into a main usb port not a hub
don't use a laptop
set USB ports to always on in bios and or windows
reboot PC
have antenna AT least 3 away from pendant at all times.
