Controller will not connect with PC.

Good day gents.
Reinier here from South Africa currently living in UAE.

My very first post and Im ready to quit from frustration.
I simply cannot get my controller to connect with my PC. I have followed all the instructions to perfection. I watched all the YouTube configuration videos and complied with everything. I'm using a Blink Intel PC with Windows 11. My brother who works in IT tried helping also and made sure all I.P settings is good.

I just don't know what to do anymore.
An help would be greatly appreciated.

When you install the software it will ask to set the IP address for you automatically.

Is the IP of NIC the Acorn is plugged into actually set with a static IP of 10.168.41.1 and subnet mask of 255.255.255.0?

Can you ping 10.168.41.1? Can you ping 10.168.41.2 (the Acorn)? If you can ping both then the issue is probably a Firewall blocking communication.

PING test works perfect. Absolutely every single firewall, virus protection everything is switched off. I even tried in on another laptop and does the same.

Im loading windows 10 now hoping maybe windows 11 was the problem

I'm using a B-link Intel mini PC. Like the Intel NUC.

Well gentleman. Problem solved. I can't believe it. Wiped Windows 11. Uploaded Windows 10. Re did the whole setup and it works.... a whole day of wanting to break something lol thank to Windows 11.
