Anyone ever run CNC12 on server hardware? in a windows VM? Through a switch?

Ive got a Lenovo ThinkServer RD350 with a Xeon E5-2690 v4 (1985 single thread CPU score)
14 core 28 thread

I am wondering how well CNC12 will run in a windows VM on that server?
The hardware will be way more stable than any desktop / laptop i have, and all my CAD and prints are already on the server network anyways.

Has anyone ever ran CNC12 on server hardware?
Has anyone ever ran CNC12 on a windows VM?
Has anyone ever ran CNC12 through a managed network switch?

Yeah obviously Centroid probably have not tested in this config, but hardware specs say it should work.
Curious to see if anyone has tried something similar

To confirm, we have never tested it in those configurations. The CPU hardware is within specs, but we don't know what kind of latency will be added and what affect that could have on operational results.

VM ware tuned for Latency Sensitivity is almost as fast as a real PC, but I would stay away from producing additional problems ;)

Presumably you are doing this for a bet, rather than for some sort of performance or financial benefit. You might instead have chosen to spend the time making chips - but that's a matter of personal choice!
