New Acorn with bent pin

Post by akschu »

Just got my new Acorn from cnc4pc and noticed this. Should I pull the board off and straighten it?

Either that or return it for replacement.
Cheers,

Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

I bent the pin back and it seems okay, so I think I'll just roll with it, but good to have this documented in case something breaks down the road.

Thank you for bringing that to our attention. That is clearly not how that Acorn should have shipped out. The pin in question is one of several ground pins so it will have no effect on the function of the Acorn, however we would be happy to issue an RMA. Please let us know the serial number on the Acorn so we can at least document this.
