CNC Control Configuration Wizard Error! <answered>

Post by Proidea »

CNC Router, CentroID:
Following the schematic S15117, I wired my Delta VFD-E and then I set in the Wizard:
Out3: VFDEnable
Out4: SpinVFD
Out5: VFDResetOut.
(MySchematic attached).

When I close the wizard, I get a popup message saying that VFDDirection (M3 / M4) cannot be used in conjunction with SpinFWD. – (screenshot attached).

If I set VFDDirection instead of SpinVFD everything works.

Is it a Wizard bug or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,
Henry

That must be logical this way, because SpinFWD with SpinREV and VFD Direction would do the same thing, but VFD Direction needs only one output.

That's correct. The two control methods, (SpinFWD, SpinREV) OR (VFDEnable, VFDDirection) are mutually exclusive. If you only want to the spindle to run in only one direction then you can simply move the VFD FORWARD MI1 wire directly to CNT2 AUX 2/ on your drawing and wire it like that. You will save one relay that way.
