The video on the Acorn Plasma

Post by lilb93 »

Watched the video yesterday on the acorn Plasma. Was really good. Just got in a Langmuir XR 4X8 table. Wondering how easy it would be to change it over to Acorn.

I always thought it would take longer to grow old.

Its doable.
Currently only Hypertherm Powermax plasma cutters are supported if you want to use torch height control.
If you don't you don't have to use it. In the future if you get a Hypertherm Powermax, then you could add the THC.

It would be up to you to add a breakaway and an OHMIC sensing tip or floating switch on the Z axis
