Acorn V4.5 license not installing (RESOLVED)

Hi,

I just purchased Acorn CNC12 V4.5 plus the pro license. It is setup in bench test with Gecko 201 stepper drivers.
All is working fine, except when I install the pro license the system tells me it was successfully installed but it remains in the free version.

I am running the software on a Lenovo laptop with the following hardware:

Intel Core i7-3720QM CPU @ 2.60GHz
Intel RAM 8.00 GB
Windows 10 PRO 64-bit

I did a fresh Windows install and set it up following Centroids instructions.
I have attached the report file and the license sent to me.

Please let me know what I can do to resolve the issue.

Try deleting the license.dat in the CNCT directory. Then copy the License back down to the PC from the email and loading it again. Just in case anything got corrupted.

I did try that several times, but with the same end result. I just displays the message that it updated successfully but the free version message persists.

are you using an Apple computer to download the license file from email?

No, I did not. I was at work and forwarded the email to my windows computer at work and downloaded it from there. Maybe that is still a problem, so I will download it directly to my CNC PC. I will try again later when I am home.

I downloaded the license file directly to the CNC computer, deleted the license.dat from the CNCT directory and reinstalled.
Once again, it gave the message that the license was successfully installed but the ACORN FREE is still being displayed.

Do you have internet at the machine? Please give us a call at 814-353-9290 and we can schedule a Teamviewer session to see if we can troubleshoot this directly.

Please upgrade to CNC12 4.60 in the meantime. free support for v4.5 has ended.

Where do I download CNC12 V4.60? The only link I see is for CNC12 V4.50. Am I missing something?
