Trying to get my head around M19 command in preparation for toolchanger setup in a small 3 axis VMC.
I have the spindle setup with spindle orient on output7 & position complete on input 5, orientation position is controlled by the driver.
The spindle orients successfully but the system hangs waiting for memory bit #240 to change state (I think).
Alt-I screen shows input 5 closing but memory #240 doesn't change state.
If I cancel the command or hit reset the spindle remains locked. Only way to unlock the spindle is to power down Acorn & restart.
Is there something I am missing, or a command system is waiting for?
Thanks,
Michael

Re: M19 command in Acorn
You're using the incorrect input. The photo shows that you have assigned input 5 as SpindleIsLocked but it should be assigned to SpindleIsOriented.
I also see that this doesn't have the correct custom macros. Please copy the attached macros into the c:\cncm directory.

Re: M19 command in Acorn
Thankyou.
I have used those macro's however with the M15 M16 I could not get the system to recognise tool unclamp. Left output defined as output 8 & used M94 /68 instead.
With the M19 command it is no longer locking the outputs but system is not recognising memory bit 13. Should I be using 50005 instead? https://youtu.be/TaSKE6PtUiA Thanks,
Michael
Edit: I tried M101 /50005 to no avail, I do not think that the macro is moving from the M94 /19 command.
