Tool Check now stops the program <answered>
New weird occurrence where when hitting the tool check on my MPG it aborts the program. Just a week ago it would let you check the tool, and then restart where it stopped.

Re: Tool Check now stops the program
I sat down to read through the manual and the behavior is as the manual states, I didn't realize this. However, what is odd, is that previously the machine did not act this way when hitting tool check.
Previously, it would stop motion, retract the Z, stop the spindle. You could then inspect the tool, change the tool, etc, and then just hit cycle start and it would backup a few lines, and start.

Re: Tool Check now stops the program
The issue after reading is that when hitting tool check, and it foes to the run screen menu, there is no option to resume job.

Re: Tool Check now stops the program
if you "F2" Load a g code program directly from a USB stick (or other drive other than c: ) that causes this issue.
so solution is easy... copy the g code program to c:\cncm\ncfiles and then load it from that location and tool check works as expected.
