ok..poor wording.. stay calm and carry on.. there is nothing wrong with the old antenna.
the new antenna gives you 10-20% more range. so now instead of 80 feet away you can run the MPG 100 feet away. thanks, k
and as always..don't have the antenna right on top of the MPG place it at least 3-4 feet away for best results.
