Ok, thanks. I will reach out to DMM for better understanding why the recommendation to deviate from your schematic. And why others are able to get by with 5v supplied to pin 11 and 22.

We tested the DYN4 to Acorn cable made by DMM today. It works. Please see schematic attached.

follow previous software setting instructions with these differences..
Set Gear number to 2000 in DMM software
and use 8000 steps per rev in the Acorn Wizard

Yes should be no issue.
I tested the cable yesterday myself and did a video on it.

Be sure you have DYN4 configured and tested using the DMMDRV software first
