Looking have at your report you need the digitizing bundle to have CSR you have PRO license

Add amazing Digitizing and Probing capabilities to your Mill or Router with the Acorn "Digitizing Bundle"

- 2D and 3D Digitizing, Grid, Radial, Contour.
- Digitizing cycles is easy push button menu driven operation. (no macros needed!)
- Export Data to Cad/Cam
- Auto G code generation
- Unlimited Auto Tool Height Measurement
- Full set of menu driven Probing cycles (Bore, Single Edge, Web, Slot, Inside corner, outside corner)
- Eighteen WCS locations (G54 thru 59 plus 12 more)
- Menu driven Auto Coordinate System Rotation with Probe
- Works with Centroid DP-4 Touch Probe or any other Contact probe.
- All features of the CNC12 Free and Pro are included

Ron is correct that you need to upgrade to Digitizing Bundle for CSR to work and also you need to upgrade to V4.12. You are running V4.10.

Thanks Ron and Dana for your feedback

I'm running V4.12 (have a look to the latest report).
Can you please elaborate on this:
CSR Acorn.PNG
And also the fact that CSR is available at all in the menues (so I'm able to set it) indicates that this should work.

Maybe this is my lack of english understanding. But this says, CSR is available in the Acorn Pro version. In other words, when I set CSR, I expect that this works.
You only need the Digitize bundle if you want to set CSR using a probe:
Menu driven Auto Coordinate System Rotation with Probe
Manually as the spec says, it should also be possible!!

Thanks

Found this at http://www.cncsnw.com/

Marc Leonards very informative site.

To set coordinate system rotation manually:
1.Compute the rotation angle: angle = arctan(Y distance / X distance). For example, if you sweep a 6" wide vise jaw with an indicator, and find that the jaw moves towards you 0.0015" as you sweep from left to right, then the angle is arctan(-0.0015/6), or -0.014°.
2.Press F1 for the Setup screen
3.Press F1 for Part Setup
4.Press F9 for the Workpiece Coordinates screen
5.Press F2 to edit the table of workpiece coordinate origins
6.Enter the computed rotation angle under the appropriate coordinate system(s)
7.Press F10 to save
8.Press ESC as needed to return to Part Setup or the main screen

If a coordinate rotation is set for the current coordinate system, a rotation icon will appear between X and Y on the DRO display.

To clear out the rotation corrections for all coordinate systems:
1.Press F1 for the Setup screen
2.Press F1 for Part Setup
3.Press F8 for the Coordinate System Rotation screen
4.Press F4 to clear all rotations
5.Press ESC as needed to return to Part Setup or the main screen

Hi Ron,

Thanks for the resource, I will have a look to it. Frankly the steps to set it seems a little bit odd since I can meassure manually the angle within the CSR menu in the part setup dialog. As one can also see in the screenshot there are the steps on how to do it manually. From my point of view there is an inconsistency / bug since the manually messsured coordinate is not stored in the coordinate system. And when I read the specs, this should even be possible in the free version of acorn.

I Just gave it a try but in Work Coordinate Sytem, there is no way to enter the angle.

I still hope to hear some good news from centroid ;)

Thanks Ron for the screenshots and all your efforts!
WorkCoordinateSystems.png
It seems you didn‘t noticed the difference between my Work Coordinate System dialog and yours. In mine there is no row for CSR! So there is no way to do it the way you desribed it.
This may be related to the fact you are having the Digitize Bundel. But this also indicates, that there is a bug or a setting missing. Maybe the Parameter 150. I‘ll have a look. But I can‘t imagine that.

So still looking for the solution!

Would you agree that this is a bug? How can I report such a bug?
