The one Keith linked a few messages back the M93P meets the requirements, has an SSD and Windows 10 loaded. Great price too

You are running fusion 360 online on a PC configured for CNC?BillB wrote: ↑Sun Feb 13, 2022 6:39 am As per Marty’s suggestion i got one for my lathe build and it’s working really good, im even running Fusion 360 on it right at the machine bench, no reason to even boot my workstation for simple programming and modeling.
I will be looking for another one for my mill build as well.

To me, it doesn't seem like a great idea hooking a computer with no anti-virus up to the Internet.
Cheers,
Tom

to me too, no firewall, no antivirus and administration rights and then using cloud software keeps the door wide open
CNC PC should have only the CNC software and Notepad++, no network connection besides the one to the CNC.

At the very least, run Windows Defender. There is NO problem running defender with CNC12. Just let CNCT.EXE or CNCM.EXE through. Usually with the most up to date versions of Windows 10 you will be prompted the first time you turn on Defender and then start CNC12. Just check the boxes and accept.

Installed a new PC for my next Acorn project, CNC conversion of my lathe with servos
Lenovo ThinkCentre M93z with 23" Touchscreen
Intel Core i5-4590S
8GB Ram / 256GB SSD
Got it refurbed for 400 bucks
Tested on my mill first, very easy to swap CNC12 to an other PC, runs perfect

Looks like I am the only one using All In One PCs, wondering why?

No, you are not alone. I have an MSI AIO with i3 / 12GB / W10 and it's fine for CNC12 and Fusion 360. I disabled the touchscreen to avoid nuisance events but with an MPG I barely used the touchscreen feature anyway.
Having said that, my next machine will probably use something like an M93 Tiny i5 so I can run Fusion and other stuff, as there's not a vast choice if you restrict yourself to AIO.
