aceeleration in .nc code
Good afternoon, I have satisfactorily programmed the acorn cnc and it is great, the only drawback is that it is too abrupt when I press start cycle to execute the file, as if it had a lot of acceleration
I have tried many convincing but I do not understand what happens, it seems that the acceleration of the machine is different from the code G
I created the G code with Artcam 2010 in .nc format
I'd appreciate your help

Claudio...
Acceleration is set a time in Centroid control. Either using the Wizard or by direct edit of the parms. Assume this: That if your axis rapid or feed is 500 ipm and the acceleration number is .5 second, that the acceleration is 1000 ipm/sec. Adjust your machine as needed. Larger numbers are longer times

Re: aceeleration in .nc code
the strange thing is that the movements when the code is executed are erratic and violent, similar to interference. I have drivers where the control is 5v, and we have put a resistance on each signal input because the acorn has 24v, now I never use this configuration, could it be that the resistors are interfering?

Re: aceeleration in .nc code
I have years of experience with mach3, but I want my equipment to be more professional, with this I want to tell you that the machine is correctly set up, even the jog movements in vacuum are smooth and chords, but at the time of executing the work is abrupt, I have tried all kinds of files, the result is the same

Re: aceeleration in .nc code
We are not doubting your machine setup, it could just be a simple setting in the software that is causing this. Without a report we can't see what your settings are. Please post a report and we would be happy to help you

Re: aceeleration in .nc code
hello.
the encoder counts per rev and motor mm/rev are incorrect. (x and y are currently set to 100 steps per rev)
please read this post.
viewtopic.php?f=60&t=1801
what make, model , size motors and drives are being used?
what is the drive train? ballscrew? rack? etc.. post photos and specs

Re: aceeleration in .nc code
good day dear friend, I think that's the problem, but I think it's not clear to me the overall turn radius, what value should go, because I have a rack and pinion, without any rdeduction, that is to say that the motor directly attacks the rack, all the post that I saw make reference to the screw of recirculating balls, the zipper that used is of module 1, and the pinion measures 40 mm of diameter, that gives me an advance of 126mm per revolution, nevertheless in the box of overall turn radio no I can put a value higher than 39

Re: aceeleration in .nc code
I have lied to the program because I can not add the value of 125 mm (what is the real progress in my transmission, for each revolution of the engine), but that brings me the problems. How do I enter a value greater than 39 in the overall turn radio?
