I'm currently using Fusion 360, it does some things well, and it's basically free, but there are some things that are extremely painful like the alignment of text, and control of the engraving tool paths.
EnRoute looks very powerful and things that would take hours in Fusion, take a few mouse clicks in Enroute, but it is by no means free.
I thought I saw that someone on the forum was using EnRoute, Maybe it was the Acorn facebook group.
