Acorn with BLD2300 driver from Anaheim

Post by jvannuil »

Has anyone hooked up the acorn with Anaheim BLD2300 Drivers ?
I had to use pull up resistors on all the step and direction inputs to keep the acorn from faulting out when I hooked it up.
I'm using 470 ohm resistors but losing steps on short arc moves at pretty low step rates. I'm just wondering if the pull up resistors could be creating noise or modifying the input pulses. I have limited the max to 50 inches per minute and it's still losing step. These drivers where hooked up to an AHHA IFB board and the max on that system was 100 inches per minute on the same machine with no lost steps.
Any thoughts?
