Post by transmon »

Hi guys got new Acorn board to replace bad one copied all my settings with snippet and made copy and renamed file cncm file did uninstall and reinstall CNC12. Now when I run my router the paired axis works for a few times then stops working , shut down CNC12 start wizard go to the advanced axis tab and the radio button is now saying NO ?? Why did it change itself its like it reverted to the default setting . I have tried rebooting computer and power cycle Acorn anybody have any thoughts Thanks All !!!

Please...post a report. it's most likely because you do not have the pro license installed.

Thanks Keith tried that my soft limits are staying now but my Paired axis will work fine until I run program or home the machine after the right motor stops working exit go back into wizard and check axis pairing and it is off again also on the paired axis should axis four in custom axis config steps and turns ratio match the Y axis that it is paired off of ? if I change them to mach they will revert back to 200 stepps and 5 turns this is a belt drive router they is no reduction so turns should be 1 right ? Also did full unistall of CNC12 and reinstaled software. Thanks A bunch f or all you do for us DIYer's also is there someone who I can send my first Acorn board to that can check it to see what happened to it ? Thanks Dave

I think I found the problem but not sure how to fix it ? this is not my original Acorn controller for this system the first one went bad so ordered new one now what i noticed is that it says it accepts the license for Pro in fact it does not it still says FREE not PRO, any way I did several uninstalls and deleted all the data for CNC12 but there is something I am missing just don't know what Thanks Dave
