A VERY Annoying "Feature" of This Forum...

Am I the only one that finds this forums behavior annoying? My login times out VERY quickly - far, FAR faster than any forum I've EVER belonged to. And when it does, I have to first refresh the page, so I have a login link to click, then login, then go back DOWN to the Acorn forum, as the login screen ALWAYS returns to the top of the forum. Can you PLEASE make the timeout longer? At least a day?? And PLEASE change the login page to it returns to where you were, rather than going to the top of the forum?

I don't have that problem. I've logged in once in maybe the last 2-3 weeks. Is there a setting you changed in your account perhaps? I've not changed anything.

I logged in, in November 2017 even if I shut the computer down I can come back without logging in.

I have my login saved on two computers, at tablet, and a phone. Never had to re-login on any of them. Hate to say it but it seems like it's a local problem and not a forum related one.

I have remember me checked and 99% of the time, I’m always logged in. Every once in a while, however, it will log me out.

Hmm. I use Google Chrome. No such issue with me at all....
You and Ray should say which browsers you use....

Well, THAT is bizarre! There was NO "Remember Me" checkbox on the login page! I manually logged myself out, and back in, and it finally showed up! I assume that will solve the problem.

You and Ray should say which browsers you use....
Safari on the phone and Chrome on the PC. It’s happened on both but so infrequently that’s it’s not a big deal.
