For my conversion I am using 240vac drives.
I just realized I do not have a neutral at my machine location.
Should I run a new four wire connection(about 40 ft), or add a drop down transformer for the 110vac power, or run long cord to a 110 vac outlet?
Or is there a better idea I haven't considered?
The only thing I need it for is the PC and monitor... as far I can tell.

Re: Electrical power question
Check the specs on your PC and monitor.
Many now have universal power supplies that will accept 240VAC input.
If 120VAC is required, it is about a wash whether you put in a small (maybe 500VA) control power transformer, or run a 4-wire service. If there is enough cabinet space, I would go with the transformer.
