Not quite there yet Clay....your efforts won't be for nothing!
Have you tested it well?

Unfortunately, I don't have a good way to physically test it. However, I I took a Fanuc Post processor and modified it so CNC12 would read it without any errors. Then I read through what I produced and compared it to Intercon.martyscncgarage wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 8:42 pmNot quite there yet Clay....your efforts won't be for nothing!

Then I simulated it on CNC12 and it graphed what I expected.
It's essentially a Fanuc post with some data changed as in m codes that were the different number, and planar g codes that are unnecessary for CNC12 and created errors. I compared the Centroid output to the Fanuc output as far as actual feed rates and positions, and it was identical.
So that's where it is. I see no reason it would crash anything, but I can't say it always generate clean code.
At this point, I think it's the best post processor available for Fusion 360 and Centroid turning, and also, the only one.

Re: Fusion 360 lathe post processor ready for BETA
Appreciate your work on the post file. I want to test it out, but I'm setup for diameter mode in CNC12 and I can't find any way to change Fusion 360 from radius to diameter mode? I've read all the google articles I can find, but nothing really seems to show that it can be done. So to use Fusion 360 Cam, will I have to run CNC12 in radius mode?
Decided my first CNC run was gonna be a bishop instead of a pawn.....LOL....gotta be different.
Thanks

Oh yeah, noticed when I tried to post with mist turned on, the post processor would not run (well, it ran, just didn't create proper gcode).
Edit, for some reason it was because I had mist turned on. Using mist causes an error on the post running properly.

Re: Fusion 360 lathe post processor ready for BETA
Here is a lot more info on the stuff I've found with this post file. I started a new thread, as originally I thought it was my CNC12 setup. Now I think it's either the post file or a setting I have wrong in Fusion CAM.
