Thanks for the heads up Keith. I was discussing this earlier with the wife & warned her that another Acorn purchase (very soon) would be a good investment for the future. Bada-Bing, Bada-Boom your post pops up the same day! I just now pulled the trigger on #2 for the yet-to-be-finished mill project. Merry Christmas to me!

Yes, thanks for the info. I didn’t realize the Pro upgrades were offered at intro pricing so I’ll be buying those ASAP. Hmmm...already have 2 Acorn boards so do I need a spare?

I hope this is a good move.
I would like to see a dual voltage supply instead of the single.

Re: End to Acorn Introductory Pricing date is January 3rd 2018
we originally shipped dual and even triple voltage power supplies with acorn, the result: user connected 5 vdc or 12 vdc to the acorn instead of 24 vdc and the confusion began. so we decided to let the user determine if they needed so other voltage other than 24 vdc that Acorn requires as we have no idea what drives are going to be connected to the Acorn so its up to the user to provide the power that match the drives being used.

I just purchased the Pro license for both mill and lathe. Wanted to get in before the price goes up. Still on the fence re a spare Acorn.DICKEYBIRD wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2017 7:05 amKeith says: "I was a Boy Scout; my advice is Be Prepared.
