When you "not having any luck" what do you mean?
If you look at the the diagnostic screen or even the CNC12 screen, are you not seeing the inputs toggling?

I wasnt seeing any status change on the pins when blocking the sensor.
I think I have come to the conclusion my switches or something in my wiring is bad.
I pulled another sensor out and am verifying a few things first.
Measuring the new sensor with a 330k resistor I get .45?v and blocked 4.85 v, this is being powered by a 5v ps. That should be recognizable by the MX3660.

Got it all up and running as it should this morning!

I need to clean up my limit wiring in the cabinet.
That was the issue with the switches.
In fact it appears I dont need the pull up resistor with the MX3660 and the SUNX GL-12F.
2 sensors are wired with it, 1 is not (yet, maybe?)
They all show up when triggered on the diagnostic screen. I still need a different vane for the sensor on my Z but the sensor is up and working.

So far I have the X & Y axis' tuned to 120 ipm with a .15 sec accel and 75 ipm .25 sec on the Z.
The movement is fast, smooth and quiet.
I experienced no stalling up to 200 ipm, then sanity kicked in.
Who cares about a 200 ipm rapid on a hobby machine?
I did test this same machine at 330 ipm via Mach years ago, it passed fine.
Fun to watch and do but not practical.

Though this software is a change from what I am used to (Mach).
I do like its priorities.
The forced homing as an example, though it might be possible.
It appears the Acorn requires it first.
Seems like in Mach I could forget that or bypass it with maybe not so good results.
Cant wait to dig in a little deeper.

Good to hear you are making good progress. Once you understand the software, I bet you never look back.

When you going to post photos of your machines running on Acorn? :D

Nobody should see such an abused machine!
It has been neglected and almost given up upon at different times.
Let me give it a bath and at least clean up the cobweb dirt infested area.
It is a shame I let it get so dirty.
Same with the Dyna, neglect.

I am really liking everything so far.
It has definitely rejuvenated my interest.
I want to make things more than repair the machine.
I might have to get Ultimate though, those probing routines look great.

Baby steps....get the machines up and running on Acorn, familiarize yourself with CNC12...then take the ULTIMATE plunge... :)

Marty,
You dont happen to remember the wiring convention on the Dyna touch off tool thing.
I saw you using it on your 2400.
I would like to use mine.

I left the machine at a friends house to work with the Centroid control.
Horribly simple. Do a continuity test from the probe surface to each pin in the DIN connector, once you locate it, just wire that pin to the input on Acorn and set that input up in the Wizard for the probe. Leave the default probe speeds in the wizard alone, they seem to work.

Yours is a 3 wire too isnt it?
I do see that the white wire has continuity with the touch pad.
So the other 2 wires are for the LED?

Yes, the other two are for LED. It's 3 volt. NOT 5 volts. (Ask me how I know 🤔) didn't need it anyway. 😁
