The Big Brick-owski... (resolved)

Post by DICKEYBIRD »

...the ol' Brick-ola, the Brick-sydoodle, the big Brick-huna. Yep, you guessed it. With all this struggling lately I well & thoroughly bricked my poor, brand-new BeagleBone. Must've somehow made a dumb move on my part. (Imagine that!)

Any way, I followed the "De-bricking" instructions & got the magic stuffed back into it again. The lights didn't do what they were supposed to do but it worked anyway. Now that the 23" touchscreen is hooked up & working, I have CNC12 & the VCP working well.

I could only get it to work by booting the PC fully, starting CNC12 and the instant the "Initializing MPU box popped on, power up the Acorn.

Next step, MOTION (I hope.)

Always have Acorn powered with heart beat light flashing before starting cnc12.

Never power off acorn during a firmware update.
